Happy Meal Toys

McDonald's is known for its Happy Meal toys.  Let's face it, just about every kid in America at some point in time has enjoyed a Happy Meal and even more so, enjoyed the little toy!

When my husband and I were at a local shop called Retro Distortion, he happened upon a 90's Happy Meal set- with 6 toys, almost the complete set.  Well, for .75 cents a pop, we bought 'em!

They are the transformer toys that look like a burger or fries, and there are secret/hidden compartments that you have to find in order to turn it into the character it really is.  I never thought food disguised as a dinosaur could be so much fun! ;-)

 

Garbage Pail Kids

Yep, I had some of these collector cards as a kid!  I always thought it so odd that something so wholesome like "Cabbage Patch Kids" had a spin off toy so to speak, that was so gross and wrong...lol

My husband and I were at a local vintage store and came across some of these collector cards, they were like 15 cents a piece so we couldn't pass up grabbing a handful!  We even got one pack still in wrapping- still had the original bubble gum in it.  Yick!  Won't be chewing that anytime soon...LOL

Then I have pictures of the cards and some of the backs of the cards.  When I get my scanner out, I will properly scan them all and then repost them in this blog.
