New Decor

I love decor from Victorian, Gothic or Gothic Victorian, or even simply childhood-fantasy such as unicorns or fairies.  I have loved all of these themes since I was a kid and it has not changed in my adulthood.

Tony & I were at a nearby antique store this past Friday and there is also a craft store attached.  This store is lethal for me because I always find a million things I like! ;-)

I found a couple good bargains though on this most recent trip.  First is a decorative floral wreath that now hangs outside the door to our home.  It's a small wreath but so delicate and actually has the colors of Spring, love it!

The other item I found I put in our spare room- it is a string of colored delicate beads.  I love these types of decor because you can use them for just about anything you can think of-they are very versatile and also usually fairly inexpensive.  Like the wreath, these are the colors of Spring- guess your's truly is happy that time of year has finally rolled around!

Walk the Dinosaur!

Remember that sitcom from the early 1990's called, "Dinosaurs?"  It had the lovable Sinclair Family- which was so clever, the Sinclairs....as in the Sinclair Dinosaur sign back in the day. ;-)

I have faint memories of watching this show as a kid when it aired.  It only had about 4 seasons and recently I started watching all seasons in order on Netflix.  The show is so freaking clever!  Now as an adult, I can appreciate the humor even more!  I remember my favorite character was Baby Sinclair...it had memorable lines like, "Not the mamma!" and "I'm the baby, gotta love me!"

I was out "picking" for Roo's Hobbies and I came across a small Baby Sinclair figure!  So I nabbed him for myself- all $1.49 of him.  Gotta love Goodwill finds every now and then.  And this toy isn't too common so it was an awesome find.

He now sits on my desk and keeps "Felix the Fish" company...lol

I wish this type of sitcom would fly today, but I don't think it would.  At least this show aired from 1991-1994 and is available on Netflix!

I just found this interesting short piece on the Baby character...interesting~
